Do you want to live in the clouds or experience how it is to be in a cloud?
You can do that partly through ‘The Cloud’ skyscraper, which will be built in South Korea and it would look something like this as you see below although it looks the september 11 incident on the Twin Towers in New York, but its not.
‘The Cloud’ is the name of a residential complex designed by the architectural firm MVRDV in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and is supposed to be implemented in the city of Seoul in South Korea.
This apartment complex consists of two tower buildings. Where one of them would be 260 meters high while the other one would be 300 meters high. The tower buildings are characterized by the existence of groups of residential units that are combined together in the form of a cloud of cement which gives the look of a digital cloud or pixel cloud. Up halfway through the tower buildings, these groups of residential buildings join the tower to each other at the 27th floor as you can see in the pictures and give you the feeling of ‘Living In The Cloud’:
The complex includes apartments, offices, restaurants, meeting rooms, conference rooms, and also includes green areas like most modern buildings and are planted to a total area of 14,000 square meters.
‘The Cloud’ allows concrete spectacular panoramic sight of the city of Seoul in all directions, and is supposed to be completed in 2015 to become a distinctive architectural sign in South Korea.
